La linguistique structurale 1916-1970
Abstract
This work is intended to be a general presentation of what structural thinking meant for the twentieth century linguistics. We have reviewed the dates that marked its evolution, the concepts and methodological principles common to the great structural schools, the name of the respective schools. The core concepts of structural linguistics, their evolution and the meaning they acquire for the representatives of the different schools structural linguistics, the analysis level and the units for every level are further looked into detail. Finally, we have pointed out the way structuralism approaches and rearranges the fields of traditional grammar.
