Abstract

The main goal of this review is to underline the relevant bridges between cartographic approach to syntactic structures, proposed by the Italian generativists (mostly around Luigi Rizzi and Guglielmo Cinque's theoretical contributions), and what we call here the "standard" version of Noam Chomsky's Minimalist Program ("Categories and Transformations").
