Abstract

The article draws up an inventory of business communication situations and provides a thorough description of the themes, linguistic and pragmatic contents which need to be taught to effectively communicate in these situations. It also establishes a correlation between the three types of content aiming at assuring an autonomous approach of the teaching materials used. The last part of the article examines the type of progress to be applied so as to reach the levels of competence and performance corresponding to the basic skills included in occupational standards.
