Abstract

The novel, the modern genre par excellence, has evolved within the "classical" norms (on Aristotelian and Horation grounds, etc.). As a space of an innate liberty, the novel is the development of an issue which is often personal before the 19th century. Does it have the same representation in the postmodern frame (if such a frame exists)?
