Literature Beyond Myths, Legends and Traditions
Jean-Christophe Rufin : Du roman français de l'extrême contemporain à l'altermondialisme
Abstract
This article scrutinizes the rufinian discourse to see how the word and the message conveyed reflect how lost the human being is. Our contribution is inspired by the relationship between men. The movements between the social environment found in the fictional universe of Rufin and the real world evoke the feelings that his texts portray social issues, images of a fragmented society. From this viewpoint, how is Rufin standing as an adherent to alterglobalization? The formal structures found in the corpus destroy negative thoughts and actions in order to build a brand new society. To achieve that goal, the sociopragmatic and multidisciplinary approach by Kalulu Bisanswa is used as the groundwork.
