De Vive Voix
Abstract
The method De Vive Voix is issued at Didier/Hatier International Paris in 1972 (the first part) and in 1975 (the second part), during an audio-visual era of language teaching. The course is designed for beginner students in French and its main objectives were the priority for oral communication, practicing lexical and grammar contents, orthographical learning of written language. Among the teaching procedures used by this method, we can enumerate: presentation, dialogue explanations, repetition, exploiting and transposing.
