Abstract

Originating in the more general context of neo-behaviourism, the direct method makes use of genuine communication situations, as well as implicit grammar when attempting to eliminate first language use in the teaching-learning process. The final object is that the product obtained should be at least comparable or identical to that of a native speaker.
