Première assise théorique
Les théories de l'énonciation comme fondement de l'approche communicative
Résumé (en anglais)
The first part of the article consists of a thorough presentation of the four theories on which enunciative linguistics is founded: Emile Benveniste's formal apparatus of enunciation, Catherine Kerbrat-Orecchioni's subjectivity in language, Oswald Ducrot's insertion of context in the mundane ordinary and Antonio Culioli's theory of enunciation. The second part of the article describes the parameters of enunciation: the enunciation situation, which defines the enunciator, the co-enunciator and the non-person, the locution situation, which has three places – that of the speaker, that of the hearer and that of the non-participant – and the situation of communication or the context. Finally, the last part describes the formal apparatus of enunciation, namely the deixis. The article is completed by a glossary of terms used in the theory of enunciation and by a guiding bibliography in the field.
