Résumé (en anglais)
This article reviews the first part of the research project which consisted of the following stages: drawing up a bibliography accompanied by comments and descriptors; selecting the research model, which is that of social sciences based on the 1968 book coordinated by Bourdieu; performing a critical analysis of the theories on which present teaching of business French is based, the communicative and functional approach, specific objective teaching and the approach centred on the task; executing field research aiming at establishing teaching/learning general and specific objectives depending on students' needs and motivation.
