La coopération linguistique entre l'Espagne et la Côte d'Ivoire aujourd'hui

Since the period of its independence in 1960, Spanish has been one of the foreign languages taught in Côte d'Ivoire. Its promotion is active in the country and the number of learners is only increasing to the point of making Côte d'Ivoire the first country in Sub-Saharan Africa in terms of the greatest number of practitioners. In addition to this promotion of the Spanish language in Côte d'Ivoire, there is the mobility of teachers and students and the resumption of linguistic immersion which are today the main subjects on the agenda with regard to linguistic cooperation between Spain and Ivory Coast. This article, which objective is to detect its scope, is devoted to the framework for the development, execution and impact of this linguistic cooperation on relations between the two countries.
