Le traduire entre « l'Autre » et le « Même ». Réflexions en marge du traduire comme médiation interculturelle
Résumé (en anglais)
In the 21st world of communication, the image of the translator as a middleman, as a "purveyor" between two more or less remote cultures is still the order of the day. Nobody raises objections to the translator's position as mediator between the two texts, between the two cultures. Even if approaching translation by means of accuracy seems to be null and void, giving thought to the accuracy of the translator's point of view seems to us an opportunity to clarify its implicit information (what type of accuracy, towards who, towards what, with what intention, why?) This being the case, we intend to ask again the question of identity in a slightly different way because, more than ever, the issue of the Other and the Same remains at the heart of the thought on translating practice.
